Terms of Service
Last updated 3 July 2026 · Tara Mobile
These terms govern your use of this website and the repair, booking and retail services provided by Tara Mobile. By booking a repair, placing an order, or using this site, you agree to them.
1. About us
Tara Mobile, 73 St Andrew's Road · Ilford, IG1 3PE · GB. Contact: tapandmerch@gmail.com.
2. Our services
When you book a repair we give you a price estimate. We will not exceed the top of any quoted range without first contacting you and obtaining your approval. Diagnostics are free up to any posted limit; if a repair turns out to be uneconomical or impossible, we will tell you before proceeding.
3. Your device and your data
- Please back up your device before handing it to us. We take care, but repairs carry an inherent risk of data loss and we cannot accept liability for lost data.
- Remove or disable any security locks where possible, or provide the passcode so we can test the repair.
- We are not responsible for accessories (cases, chargers, SIM/memory cards) unless we expressly took them in.
- Devices not collected within 90 days of completion, after written notice, may be sold or disposed of to recover unpaid charges, as permitted by local law.
- If we find evidence that a device is stolen or has been unlawfully tampered with, we will report it as the law requires.
4. Pricing and payment
- Prices are shown in your shop's local currency and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Payment is due on collection unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
- A deposit may be required for parts that must be specially ordered for your device; this may be non-refundable if you later cancel.
5. Warranty and refunds
Our repair guarantee is set out in our Warranty page, and your refund and return rights are set out in our Refund Policy. Both form part of these terms.
6. Our liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a repair or sale is limited to the amount you paid us for it. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a service must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, and any goods supplied must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If a repair fails to meet that standard you are entitled to a repeat performance or an appropriate price reduction. Goods bought online may also be returned under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 within 14 days of delivery.
7. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version always lives on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and nothing in them affects your non-waivable rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
