jlk ("we", "us", "our") operates this website and the repair and retail services offered through it. We are the data controller responsible for your personal information.

- Identity & contact data — name, phone number, email and postal address.
- Device & repair data — make, model, IMEI/serial number, fault description, repair history and any data we must access to test a repair.
- Transaction data — what you bought or had repaired, and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Communications — messages you send us through forms, chat, email or SMS.
- Technical & usage data — IP address, device/browser type, and pages viewed, collected via cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
3. How and why we use it
- To provide the repair, sale or booking you asked for, and to keep you updated about it.
- To take payment and issue receipts, invoices and warranties.
- To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
- To meet our legal obligations (tax, accounting, consumer protection, and stolen-goods reporting).
- To prevent fraud and keep our systems and premises secure.
- With your consent, to send you marketing about offers and services — you can opt out at any time.
5. How long we keep it
- Repair tickets, invoices and warranty records: up to 7 years, to meet tax and consumer-law obligations.
- Marketing contact details: until you unsubscribe.
- Chat and photo submissions not tied to a live ticket: up to 90 days.
- Website analytics: typically up to 26 months.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what categories of personal information we hold and how we use them.
- Request a copy of your personal information.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Opt out of marketing and of any 'sale' or 'sharing' of personal information for targeted advertising.
